01What it is

Acne and Mark Peels utilize lipophilic salicylic acid and combination beta/alpha hydroxy acid protocols to target active acne breakouts, clogged pores, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate deeply into lipid-rich sebaceous follicles to dissolve trapped sebum, clear acne-causing bacteria, and regulate oil output.

It is ideal for active papules, pustules, blackheads, whiteheads, and lingering dark acne marks. Dermatologist-led application ensures the acid concentration and neutralization timing are tailored to clear inflammation without stripping the protective skin barrier.

02A session, step by step

01

Clinical acne assessment

Your dermatologist evaluates active breakouts, lesion depth, and skin sensitivity before thoroughly cleansing and degreasing the face

02

Salicylic peel application

Formulated salicylic acid solution is applied precisely across active breakouts and marked zones, self-neutralizing as it clears follicular congestion.

03

Soothing neutralization

Excess acid solution is gently wiped clear, and a calming, anti-inflammatory neutralizer is applied to soothe surface heat.

04

Barrier balance and SPF

A lightweight, oil-free moisturizer and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ are applied to protect freshly treated skin.

03Aftercare

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to prevent post-inflammatory spot darkening.
  • Pause retinoids, active AHA/BHA spot treatments, and physical face scrubs for 5 days post-peel.
  • Allow any mild micro-flaking or peeling to shed naturally; strictly do not pick or squeeze spots.
  • Avoid heavy workouts, steam rooms, saunas, and hot showers for 48 hours.
  • Keep skin hydrated with a gentle, non-comedogenic oil-free moisturizer.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
