01What it is

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) treatments at Sikara focus on micro-dosed, precise muscular modulation to soften dynamic facial wrinkles while preserving natural facial movement and expression. Continuous repetitive facial movements—such as frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows—fold the overlying skin, creating hyperdynamic facial lines over time.

It is ideal for horizontal forehead lines, glabellar frown lines (11 lines), crow's feet around the eyes, bunny lines, and subtle neck bands. Dermatologist-led placement ensures injections target underlying hyperactive muscles conservatively, smoothing skin without creating a frozen or unnatural look.

02A session, step by step

01

Dynamic expression analysis

Your dermatologist evaluates your facial muscle strength and animation patterns during active expressions to map micro-injection points.

02

Cleansing and marking

The treatment zones are thoroughly disinfected, and precise injection coordinates are marked on the skin.

03

Targeted micro-injections

Micro-doses of purified neuromodulator are injected into targeted facial muscles using ultra-fine needles for minimal discomfort.

04

Post-care guidance and booking

Injections are reviewed, immediate post-care instructions are explained, and a 2-week follow-up is scheduled.

03Aftercare

  • Remain upright and avoid lying down flat or bending forward for 4 hours post-treatment.
  • Do not massage, rub, or apply firm pressure to treated facial areas for 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous workouts, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Keep facial movements natural; gentle muscle contractions help active absorption.
  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to protect your skin.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
