01What it is
Carbon Facial (also known as a China Doll or Laser Carbon Peel) uses a specialized liquid carbon lotion combined with Q-switched laser energy to purge impurities from deep within the pores. The liquid carbon paste penetrates pore openings and binds to dead skin cells, excess sebum, and trapped dirt.
When the short-pulsed laser sweeps over the skin, it vaporizes the carbon particles instantly, taking dead surface cells, oil, and micro-impurities with them. Dermatologist-led wavelength tuning ensures safe sebum reduction and instant pore tightening with zero discomfort or downtime.
02A session, step by step
Cleansing and carbon application
Skin is thoroughly cleansed, and a thin layer of liquid medical-grade carbon paste is applied across the face to absorb into pores.
Thermal warm-up
Gentle laser passes warm the carbon lotion, helping it bind to deep pore impurities and excess oil.
Laser vaporization
Q-switched laser pulses vaporize the carbon particles, clearing pores and lifting off dead epidermal debris with a mild snapping sound.
Soothe and shield
Carbon residue is wiped clean, followed by a soothing gel, lightweight oil-free moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF 50+.
03Aftercare
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to protect newly refreshed skin.
- Pause retinoids, AHA/BHA exfoliants, and physical facial scrubs for 48 hours.
- Keep skin hydrated using a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
- Avoid direct sun exposure, steam rooms, saunas, and heavy thermal workouts for 24 hours.
- Wash face with a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser.
