01What it is

Comedone Removal combines a mild keratolytic softening peel with precise, sterile manual extractions to clear stubborn blackheads, whiteheads, and congested pores. Trying to squeeze comedones at home frequently damages surrounding tissue, deepens inflammation, and leaves permanent scars; this clinical protocol softens sebum plugs first, allowing gentle extraction without trauma.

It is ideal for open comedones (blackheads), closed comedones (whiteheads), and congested T-zones. Dermatologist-led technique ensures complete impaction removal while safeguarding the skin barrier and preventing secondary bacterial spread.

02A session, step by step

01

Pore analysis and cleansing

Your dermatologist inspects congestion zones, thoroughly cleanses the skin, and prepares the face for extractions.

02

Sebum-softening peel

A mild, low-strength softening peel solution is applied briefly to loosen hardened sebum plugs inside the pores.

03

Sterile extractions

Using professional extraction instruments and sterile technique, blackheads and whiteheads are gently cleared from congested areas.

04

Calming and pore-tightening

A soothing anti-inflammatory gel and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ are applied to calm skin and refine pores.

03Aftercare

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to protect newly cleared skin.
  • Pause retinoids, active chemical exfoliants, and physical facial scrubs for 48 hours.
  • Keep skin clean and hydrated using a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser and lightweight moisturizer.
  • Avoid touching or picking at your face to keep treated pores clean.
  • Avoid heavy makeup, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 hours.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
