01What it is
Face and Precision Zones laser hair reduction targets fine-to-coarse unwanted hair across delicate facial areas, including the upper lip, chin, sideburns, jawline, and neckline. Facial hair growth is hormone-sensitive and requires precise energy calibration to permanently reduce follicles without stimulating paradoxical growth or irritating sensitive facial skin.
Dermatologist-led mapping ensures that laser parameters are tightly controlled for facial contours and skin tones. The treatment targets hair roots while preserving surrounding tissue for a clean, smooth, and manageable finish.
02A session, step by step
Assessment and precision prep
Your dermatologist evaluates hair density, thickness, and skin sensitivity across facial zones, followed by a clean shave.
Eye protection and cooling
Protective eye shields are secured, and chilled contact cooling gel is applied to safeguard the skin surface.
Precision laser pulses
Calibrated diode laser passes target hair follicles across the upper lip, chin, sideburns, or neckline with exact accuracy.
Soothe and protect
Cooling gel is wiped away, and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ is applied to protect treated facial skin.
03Aftercare
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to protect treated facial skin from UV exposure.
- Pause retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and active chemical skincare for 48 hours post-treatment.
- Avoid threading, waxing, or plucking facial hair between sessions; gentle shaving is permitted.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and heavy workouts causing excessive facial sweating for 24 hours.
- Keep skin hydrated with a mild, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
