01What it is
Full Back Laser Hair Reduction delivers efficient, comprehensive hair clearance across the upper back, lower back, shoulders, and rear neckline. Because back hair is notoriously difficult to groom independently, manual shaving frequently results in painful ingrown hairs, folliculitis, and uneven stubble.
Utilizing wide-spot laser handpieces with built-in contact cooling, this treatment treats broad skin areas quickly and evenly. Conducted as a structured course of sittings following a mandatory preliminary safety patch test, it permanently reduces follicle density while keeping sensitive back skin comfortable and smooth.
02A session, step by step
Back mapping & patch test review
Your clinical practitioner evaluates hair density from upper back to lower waist, verifies patch test clearance, and maps out target zones.
Surface prep & contact gel
Back hair is neatly trimmed and a generous layer of chilled optical gel is applied across the entire back for surface skin protection.
Wide-aperture laser sweep
High-efficiency, wide-spot laser passes glide across shoulders and back contours to target deep hair roots while active cooling protects the skin.
Cleanse & calm
Gel is removed and a cooling, anti-inflammatory barrier cream is massaged across the back to soothe hair follicles.
03Aftercare
- Wear loose, breathable cotton tops post-session to prevent friction and sweat buildup on the back.
- Do not wax, pluck, or epilate between sittings; surface shaving between visits is permitted.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
- Pause physical back scrubs, loofahs, and harsh chemical exfoliants for 48 hours post-laser.
- Keep back skin hydrated with a mild, non-comedogenic clinician-recommended lotion.
Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
