01What it is

Full Body Programmes at Sikara offer structured, medical-grade diode laser hair reduction designed for total body smoothness. Rather than uniform energy application, each anatomical zone (such as sensitive areas, thicker hair growth zones, and finer limbs) is treated with calibrated pulse durations, fluences, and continuous contact cooling.

The treatment selectively targets hair follicle melanin, damaging growth centers without harming surrounding skin. Dermatologist-led patch testing and ongoing session monitoring ensure high safety, minimal discomfort, and progressive hair reduction.

02A session, step by step

01

Zone mapping and patch test

Your dermatologist evaluates your hair density and skin phototype across body zones and verifies patch test parameters.

02

Surface prep and marking

Target zones are cleanly shaved, grid-marked for even coverage, and chilled optical gel is applied.

03

Precision laser pass

Calibrated diode laser pulses with contact cooling sweep across each grid section to target active hair roots.

04

Soothe and review

Cooling gel is wiped, a soothing post-laser lotion is applied, and your next course interval is booked.

03Aftercare

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ on exposed body areas following your appointment.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning, saunas, hot showers, and steam rooms for 48 hours.
  • Pause body scrubs, physical exfoliants, and active chemical washes for 3 to 5 days.
  • Do not wax, pluck, or thread treated body hair between sittings; shaving is permitted.
  • Apply a lightweight, dermatologist-recommended soothing lotion to calm mild warmth.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
