01What it is

HydraFacial is a machine-assisted facial that does three things in one pass: it lifts away dead surface skin, clears the pores with gentle suction, and puts hydration back in. No blades, no manual squeezing, and nothing that leaves you unable to go back to work.

It suits most skin, which is why it is the one most people start with. Congestion, dullness and rough texture respond best. It is not a treatment for active acne, deep pigmentation or scarring — those need a plan of their own, and your dermatologist will say so rather than sell you a course of this.

02A session, step by step

01

Cleanse and resurface

The top layer of dead skin is lifted away, so everything after it can reach the skin properly.

02

Extract

Pores are cleared with suction rather than pressure. This is the part most people expect to hurt, and it does not.

03

Hydrate

Serums go in while the pores are open — hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, chosen for your skin.

04

Review

Your dermatologist checks the result and says whether to repeat it, and when.

03Aftercare

  • Sun protection for the next few days, as fresh skin burns more easily.
  • Leave actives — retinol, strong acids, scrubs — for 48 hours.
  • No sauna, steam or heavy workouts the same day.
  • Mild redness for an hour or two is normal. Anything longer, tell us.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
