01What it is

The Lip Peel is a specialized, ultra-mild chemical exfoliation protocol formulated for the sensitive vermilion border and lip tissue. Lips lack oil glands and have a very thin stratum corneum, making them highly susceptible to pigmentation from sun exposure, dehydration, smoking, and environmental friction.

Utilizing gentle mandelic acid, lactic acid, and brightening agents, this treatment breaks down pigmented surface cells and encourages cellular renewal. Dermatologist-led application ensures precise timing to safely lighten darkened lip tones, restore natural pink undertones, and improve moisture retention.

02A session, step by step

01

Lip health assessment

Your dermatologist evaluates lip pigmentation depth and barrier integrity before cleaning and prepping the area.

02

Precision micro-peel application

Formulated lip brightening solution is applied delicately across upper and lower lip contours for a strictly controlled duration.

03

Neutralization and soothing

The peel solution is wiped clean and neutralized, instantly halting exfoliation action.

04

Intensive lip repair

A medical-grade, deeply nourishing lip balm containing restorative peptides and SPF protection is applied.

03Aftercare

  • Apply a nourishing, dermatologist-recommended lip balm or medical petroleum jelly frequently.
  • Apply SPF lip balm during the day to protect against UV-induced repigmentation.
  • Allow dry skin or micro-flakes to slough off naturally; strictly do not pick, bite, or scrub the lips.
  • Avoid spicy foods, citrus, and hot liquids for 24 hours post-peel to prevent irritation.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
