01What it is
PRP and Growth Factor Cycles at Sikara target early hair thinning and miniaturizing follicles using your body's own autologous growth factors. Following a detailed follicular mapping session to diagnose the root cause of hair loss, a concentrated plasma sample is gently delivered into the scalp's dermal layer. This stimulates blood supply around hair roots, prolongs the active growth phase, and increases hair density naturally.
It is ideal for androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), diffuse hair thinning, and post-shedding recovery. We do not sell generic, one-size-fits-all packages; every cycle is custom-planned and monitored by our dermatologists based on your scalp's real-time response.
02A session, step by step
Map and consult
Your dermatologist evaluates your donor areas, hair density, and scalp health under magnification to map out your treatment cycle.
Extract and spin
A small blood sample is drawn and processed in a specialized clinical centrifuge to isolate pure platelet-rich growth factors.
Precise delivery
The growth factor concentrate is introduced across targeted thinning zones using fine micro-injections for optimal follicle absorption.
Soothe and schedule
The scalp is cleaned, post-care instructions are given, and your follow-up check and next sitting are booked.
03Aftercare
- Keep your scalp clean and dry; avoid washing your hair for at least 6 to 12 hours post-treatment.
- Avoid heavy workouts, intense sweating, swimming pools, and saunas for 24 hours.
- Do not apply harsh chemical hair dyes, bleaches, or styling products for 48 hours.
- Avoid massaging or rubbing the scalp vigorously during the first day.
- Use prescribed gentle, medical-grade shampoos as advised by your dermatologist.
Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
Start with a consultation.
A dermatologist examines you, confirms whether this is right for you, and sets the plan before anything is booked.
