01What it is

Sensitive Skin Protocols are specialized laser hair reduction procedures engineered for individuals with reactive, easily irritated, or hyperpigmentation-prone skin. Traditional high-heat settings can provoke erythema or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on sensitive skin types; these protocols utilize advanced contact cooling systems, lower fluences, and longer pulse stacking to ensure maximum safety and comfort.

Dermatologist-led evaluation ensures energy delivery is strictly customized to your skin’s tolerance threshold, clearing unwanted hair effectively without triggering barrier stress

02A session, step by step

01

Skin barrier assessment

Your dermatologist checks skin reactivity, performs a targeted patch test if needed, and sets conservative, safe laser parameters.

02

Gentle prep and cooling

Target zones are prepped with a gentle shave and layered with continuous chill-contact gel to protect the epidermis.

03

Controlled energy passes

Low-fluence, high-cooling laser pulses target hair roots progressively, minimizing thermal buildup on the skin surface.

04

Calming post-care

A soothing, medical-grade barrier repair lotion and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ are applied to calm any mild flushing.

03Aftercare

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ strictly to protect sensitive treated areas.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure, heat treatments, saunas, and hot showers for 48 hours.
  • Pause active chemical exfoliants, retinoids, and fragranced skincare for 3 to 5 days.
  • Avoid waxing, threading, or plucking hairs between sessions; shaving is permitted.
  • Apply a dermatologist-recommended soothing barrier cream as needed.

Following the aftercare is part of the treatment. The outcome depends on it as much as on the sittings themselves.
